Our Smart Choices mascot is Arlo the Ant. Why an ant you might ask?
Ants plan and prepare for the future. They are wise insects and strong for their size. Ants work hard and believe it or not, studies have found they have good self control. Ants are focused, driven builders that create order in a chaotic world.
If you have ever been attacked by fire ants you quickly realize that the little creatures mean business. Ants do not care how big the problem is, they just get to work to solve it. Sure we could have picked a bigger or cooler mascot, but we believe in the little guy or gal and Arlo can help teach your children to make smart choices.
